What?! A New UPDATE?!
Yes, that's right. I have started a new project with Liquid Fire Studios.

I made this template for an Age of Mythology Design Studio that goes by the name of Liquid Fire Studios. They are a bunch of nice people that needed a template to spotlight one of there projects, so, being a fan of their other works, I gladly came up with this.

If you want to view the template I made go hrere and if you want to view the site that it's replacing go
here. (That latter link is subject to change without notice wink)

And in other news about the site: I have decided to rethink the site's purpose. I am making this site a portfolio and design central instead of a resource site. I will still make articles and post new templates and projects, I am just starting up a new business that offers not only free templates but free custom templates and the coding of these templates smile, the best news is that it's all gonna be CSS-p!

Updates!
There hasn't been an update for a while, so here's a shot smile.

Alright, I have decided to make this my official site template. It's an awesome layout with some odds and ends of PHP that quickens load times and makes it easier to tell where you are. So, it's a thumbs up ordeal.

Now for a minor update: I have sort of "optimized" the contact page with the help of PFTQ. Now it has a flood control and hides my email to protect from spam, and it allows you to trype a subject tongue. A big thanks to PFTQ for this.

That's it for this time, check back and I'll keep you posted smile.

PS: There will be a few tweaks done before I make the move from this location to the main site, so the relocation will take time.

News, Links, and Contact Pages Created
I just got finished with the creation of the news page along wih the links and contact pages. A special thanks to PFTQ for the help with "current page" style smile.

I plan on editing these pages lots more so that they are more professional and appealing.

Custom 404 Pages
Good news! I just added custom 404 pages smile. Go 'head, try it out!

I tried to follow an article that I found on A List Apart, which is a great site for CSS resource and insight. It's by Ian Lloyd and is actually a spotlight article at ALA wink. It's called "The Perfect 404", if you are interested, check it out!

New Site Started
I have finished the basic layout for the site. It took about 4 days to get this far and I have just touched the surface with the completion of the index page.

The only functional elements are the Latest Project block and the Recent News block. Even the news page isn't open in it's entirety yet until I am able to create a sidebar that lists catagories, latest comment and posts...basic blog-like info.

Anyway, I tried some very new things for this website. I used PHP to make the page you are on be highlighted in the navigation. I also used PHP to make the body work, I am experimenting with links in the structure: http://xero.elpea.net/page.php?id=inserted page. I think it's a nice feature for child pages of the main ones. It loads faster and is easier to edit.

So from now on, I'm gonna be VERY busy with this site. Creating and moving content around while still making new pages of content and articles about CSS.

So wish me luck!
